Small town charm at its finest. This little diner serves up great country comfort food that will leave you feeling satisfied and happy.
It has been a staple of the small community for over 50 years, and this is represented on the walls within, as there are pictures of locals and local sports teams covering their spaces.
They are most known for their famous Country Burger, which is essentially their version of a Big Mac from McDonalds. They also have an excellent fish fry every Friday, as well as a full breakfast. But be warned, if you're coming for breakfast get there early, as all of the towns farmers attend the diner for coffee early and take up most of the available seating. -

Fantastic Fish on Fridays. Old fashioned hand battered whitefish plate. Substituted slaw for fries. Tarter sauce was pretty good. Two piece plate should satisfy hearty appetite. A friend enjoyed his codfish sandwich.
I'll be back on a Friday. -

Great little diner here in Bedford. Had the chili grilled cheese sandwich tater tots and cornbread. Cornbread was by far the best I've had in awhile. Great little stop.

Very disappointed in this place. Had heard a lot of good things so when I passed in on my way to my sons high school away game, I had to try. I shouldn't have. Actually left the game a little early to make sure I would get there on time. I arrived at 7:30. When I walked in I was told that I had the choice of 2 tables jammed in the front because "we close in 30 minutes". As a diner I expected fried chicken, catfish, meatloaf etc. really all they have are sandwiches and burgers. Nothings fresh or homemade. I asked if the cod was hand-breaded and with a laugh was told "no that's just on fridays". I asked if the chocolate pie was homemade, again, "no" with a little chuckle and a shake of her head. Frozen "quarter pounder" looked like a small McDonald's hamburger. I had a "pork tenderloin". Overseasoned. Hash browns for both were full of oil. Pepsis were flat. The door was locked at 7:50. Won't be going back.

We stopped for lunch there yesterday. The food was wonderful, and service was great. It is clear that generations of local folks have had lots of fun times at this little landmark. I am glad we took the back roads on our trip to Bowling Green. Places like this make good memories. Thank You Little Town & Country Restaurant !!!
